Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI Matrix) for role clarity

Assigning roles and duties to stakeholders during the elaboration of an Action plan is challenging when responsibilities are not clearly defined, making accountability difficult. To ensure seamless execution of necessary steps, it is critical to understand who is responsible for what. The Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RACI Matrix) [1] is a tool for managing the roles of each stakeholder within the Action Plans of TSL (Activity 8.3), ensuring everyone understands their specific roles and enhancing accountability and performance[2]. This matrix classifies roles into four categories: Responsible (those who do the work), Accountable (those who are ultimately answerable for the correct completion of the different tasks), Consulted (those whose opinions are sought), and Informed (those who are kept up to date on progress)
