Recommendations for Transition Super-Lab coalitions building, empowering of vulnerable and marginalised groups, and vision process

This document was developed under TRANSFROMER project and provides insights into the process of creating a vision (Activity 3.1 of TRANSFORMER Roadmap), building coalitions, and engaging stakeholders (Activities 2.1 and 2.2 of TRANSFORMER Roadmap) within the TRANSFORMER Transition Super Labs (TSLs). Effective strategies for stakeholder mapping and engagement are crucial for ensuring project success. These strategies help identify key stakeholders, understand their interests and influence, and foster positive relationships. Effective coalition building includes ensuring all coalition members share a common vision and goals, involving a diverse range of stakeholders, including marginalized groups, to ensure broad representation, and fostering collaborative governance that encourages shared decision-making and cooperation. Additionally, maintaining regular communication keeps all members informed and engaged, ensuring a cohesive and effective coalition1. The document offers explicit recommendations on these topics and provides guidance on how to involve citizens, especially those who are vulnerable or marginalized, and design effective co-creative engagement initiatives.
